Introduction To Fathomistic Fantasy
I used to have a blog that was used for making record of what my life was like as a tulpamancer, a Christian, and a babyfur. After a while I got to where I did not have time for it and I did not really have the money. Even more recently I began to try putting together a YouTube video. After what happened with the policies becoming nigh impossible to work with I decided on just doing a Blog and instead of word press I am temporarily keeping it on Blogger. At least there for a good long while I did. I was thinking about doing small clips on You Tube to at least attach video to my blog. I was going to use Deviant art to keep track of my art and get it out there to promote the book I am currently writing. Unfortunately Deviant Art did a complete make over and I became lost from being removed from what I knew to be DA. I am still going to use it for art, but needless to say its a mess right now. Thus this Wix website was born.
What Is Imaginative Craft Exactly
You have some questions I assume. Don't worry I don't read minds. I get a lot of questions that are very common. I wish I had a dime jar for when ever certain questions were asked. However, work is not perfect like that. First off imaginative craft is a concept that I put together based on all my hobbies put into one. I am an artist, writer, and DIY'r. I do many kinds of craft. Anything from sewing, weaving, traditional art on paper, writing, all the way too wood working. Lets not forget the math. Oh my the math that goes with the science of molecules. I mean what now? You know! The electronics that deals with positively charged electrons and the after math we know as glorious music. Guitar amplification or sound manipulation. What about sound from scratch in a synthetic form such as Poly Synths and Monophonic Synths. I mean do you not piano?
Ok so how does this fit together? Well I am glad you asked. The whole idea of Fathomistic Fantasy is to create a realistic believable fantasy, but with some sort of bent edge to it. In cartoon type realism this has to do with making it pastel, but making some sort of element of real world physics. Oh yes that science is also in art. I suppose if you really wanted; you could draw shapes all day for non-objective art. AKA the art that is done with the intention of having no preplanned meaning. There is no objective to the finished product other than to give people something to think about. In Fathomistic Fantasy the point is to create something that not only tells a story, but to make it fathomable. Pick up your really weird obsessions and lets fathoming fantasy peoples!
The Main Fictional Character Lily
Its really important to realize that this Blog is based on characters to help make a fathomed fantasy. What else would I use to achieve such outlandish yet, realistic personalities. My persona is comparable to a youthful spirit. One that fits the character of a preteen. More specifically though. A preteen who uses coping strategies to deal with his problem. His name is Little Pebble to the second power Lily. Mouth full is it not folks? Actually there is a reason for it. Basically in spiritual terms this has to do with faith the size of a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20). If a mountain can be moved into the sea with a mustard seed. Imagine what a pebble could do? Lets just be careful not to throw it at a window or should we? Who knows it may be the first for broken glass to mean good luck? Bahahah
To Challenge Society
A Name and Gender
Ok perhaps not completely outlandish. There have been many others who went a lot farther to challenge the 1st amendment and freedom to express one self. You have a dime? I am about to answer another really over asked question. I chose the name Lily to challenge the concept of culture. I find gender to be simple. You add more than the necessary and we all are arguing over what it meant to begin with. I also chose this name because Lily was born in a slow moving river full of water lilies. It made a challenge for his mother and the doctors, but it provided a memorable family experience. In my book series his name is Noah. This is an even longer story. If you want to hear it look for my books when they get published.
The question I get asked over all this is my orientation. Lets just say I prefer a traditional Biblical life and leave it at that. This always fallows, "why are you into baby items such as My little pony and pacifiers?" First off I bring this up because I don't have a dime jar. I get asked this a lot. My Babyfursona has to do with a character that is a dragon wolf/hybrid. Remember me saying he is comparable to a preteen? That sounds a little confusing don't it? Well the idea is that he imagines himself to be a toddler. I also want to point out that I do have a minute oral fixation. When your crunching numbers or baffled by challenging dilemmas you need something. I never understood why I need something to lightly suck on and fiddle with in my mouth. I can eat my weight in hard candies if it was not for a piece of latex rubber that does not dissolve. I can't deny I thoroughly enjoy imagination and challenging myself to the simplicity of toddler activities.
I chose the name Lily to challenge the concept of culture. I find gender to be simple. You add more than the necessary to this concept and we all are arguing over what it meant to begin with. I also chose this name because Lily was born in a slow moving river full of water lilies like I previously mentioned. It may have been difficult for his mother and the doctors, but it provided a memorable family experience. The cultural tradition is that the mother will wear a dress without anything blocking the important areas. Just enough of a dress to make her presence appropriate. In my book series her son gets named Noah. His big brother calls him Lily to help him calm down when things get difficult. This is an even longer story. If you want to hear it look for my books when they get published.
Who is Molly and Poly
Ok first off the easy one. Poly is not a name, but rather a classification. My first synth rig is going to be a polyphonic synth. It will have the ability to play multiple notes. Infact depending on the settings in the MIDI to CV module it can play up to 16 instruments at one time, but with very few notes per instrument at a given moment. Molly is the name of the character from my book series that is the Mainframe Engineer. She is also a tulpae of mine in my imaginitive wonderland. Later in the book series Noah meets a Cat/Fox hybrid named Molly. She too uses a pacifier.
In the beginning of the novel over her life she is into techno and a big advocate for her EDM band. When she was barely a toddler her parents did not know what to do about her problem of her pacifier use. She used her pacifier every night and when ever she was doing math homework. She was ahead of her class which is why she became the IT for the Skyships computer systems in her early adult life. I dond't want to give away the whole story, but lets just say she gets another pacifier that fits her adult mouth.
The name of my biggest project is based on these two characters of my book series called Evandom. Its a book series that I have been working on since 2008. Be warned I am not announcing if or when it gets a book contract. Please be proper when it comes to the fair use laws. You risk a DMCA take down because by the time you read this I may have the manuscript being processed. Which means the book contracts will be legal and no one will know until the books hit the shelves. So, please use the fair use of these characters appropriatly. I welcome any fanart so long as you credit my work appropriately.
